Harlan Ellison and Me
What luck! I found out at noon that the CPL was having a tribute to Harlan Ellison at 6:30 PM with a showing of the documentary "Dreams With Sharp Teeth" and an autograph session. A favorite writer of mine since the '60s. See "Dreams With Sharp Teeth" to see why. Note I have two different links posted.
Icons of American Photography
We went on the next to the last day of the exhibit, a beautiful "blue sky" late summer day, more like fall. It was a grat exhibit with photos from the 1840's to the 1960's, including many photographers we knew and many we did not. No photo taking inside allowed!
